You know what a marathon is. It’s a 26.2 mile run that athletes train long and hard to run. So what, then, is a GLOW-a-Thon? Fortunately, you don’t have to run to participate.
A GLOW-a-Thon is a 26-day period where you (and even your whole church) come together to distribute as much literature as possible. You look for ideas about how to share the gospel through literature – being as intentional as you can to find ways both new and old to distribute tracts.
Maybe you like going out to eat. You can always leave a tract with your tip. Or if it’s fast food, hand some literature over as you get your food. Most people drive to work, and putting a tract on the gas pump is an easy way to share with the next person who comes along. You get the idea. There’s opportunity all around you for sharing the light of God’s Word wherever you go, and that’s just the start of the GLOW-a-Thon.
It’s also about being intentional about finding new ways to share, and doing what you can to step outside your normal routine and see what God will do through you.

Here is a checklist for taking the GLOW-a-Thon Challenge. Try them all during your 26 days to complete the challenge.
